Gym resolutioners are the worst9/10/2023 ![]() ![]() I'm referring to the resolutioners there to better themselves.not criticize or interrupt the regular gym goers. Let’s build on the fitness and health community!ĮDIT/CLARIFICATION: Just want to be clear since I feel we may mix 2 different ppl up.Resolutioners and douchie new members in Jan that enrolled for the promotional pricing are 2 very different profiles. I’m sure no one else is more disappointed in them than they are knowing very well that as much as they feel driven today they are probably really nervous about failing and, maybe, again…ĭo as you please but I encourage everyone to encourage those resolutioners if ever the opportunity pops up or, at the very least, don’t say anything if what you feel like saying is negative and discouraging. There’s a BIG difference between wanting something and actually doing everything in your power to get it. Which is why most start on the fitness journey and end up quitting weeks later…year after year. Most think it’s purely a getting motivated thing rather than a discipline and consistency thing. What I hear? I need help!!! Most don’t ask for it or even know they need to. I get it, sometimes, all you hear is blab la bla. To get healthy (ier), to lose weight, gain muscle mass, start working out… I totally understand the dislike of temporarily overloaded gyms in January and all the ‘New Year, New Me’ posts but at the end of the day each individual person has something in common with us…they ‘want’ to better themselves. Remember weight loss is not always the motivation for fitness, and is not always the right answer.Īs a trainer and coach that’s main objective is to help people feel great about themselves while looking great I find it so interesting how so many in the fitness community hate on the resolutioners. ![]()
